Assam VFA Written Test Pattern
Selection for the entry-level cadre of Veterinary Field Assistant (or its equivalent post) is through an OMR-based written test of 120 minutes duration, for 100 marks across 100 questions, set at Class 12 (HSSLC Science) standard.

Mandatory One-Year Training
Selected candidates must undergo a mandatory 1 (one) year Training in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science at the School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Assam, Ghungoor, Silchar, and its extended campuses under the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department. Candidates must pass this training before appointment.
