Eligibility is specific to each post and combines an educational qualification, relevant work experience, and, for nursing/medical posts, council registration. The table below summarises the qualification and experience required for each post as stated in the notification.

Malegaon Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

• General category candidates: 18 to 38 years
• Backward class category candidates: 18 to 43 years
• For Medical Officer posts, candidates who provided eligible medical services during COVID-19 and other emergency periods are exempted from the maximum age limit, as per the notification

Malegaon Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2026 Salary

Selected candidates will be paid a fixed monthly honorarium (not a regular pay scale), ranging from ₹11,000 to ₹80,000 depending on the post, as shown in the vacancy details table above. As per government policy, EPF and ESIC contributions will be deducted from the honorarium where applicable.

Malegaon Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Selection is made through the following process, as stated in the notification:

1. Scrutiny of candidates’ certificates and documents
2. Only candidates found eligible after document scrutiny will be called for a walk-in interview; ineligible candidates will not be considered for interview
3. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a local self-government body and to those who have actual COVID-19 period work experience, as well as to local candidates

Important Terms and Conditions

• These posts are for a maximum period of six months on a lump-sum honorarium basis; the appointment ends automatically on completion of the period, and no separate termination order will be issued
• The Commissioner, Malegaon Municipal Corporation, holds full rights over the recruitment process, including the right to cancel or postpone the process at any stage, change the number of posts, alter terms and conditions, change the place of posting, and increase or decrease the honorarium
• These are temporary, specific-duration posts created only to manage current work requirements; selected candidates will have no claim to permanent employment or regularisation
• If a selected candidate’s work performance during the honorarium period is found unsatisfactory, the engagement can be terminated immediately without prior notice
