Satavahana University, Karimnagar, has invited applications for 9 Part-Time Faculty posts for the academic year 2026-27. The posts are in four subjects: M.COM (Fin Tech), MSW, M.SC (Food Science & Nutrition) and M.SC (Forensic Science). 1. Fill in the “Application Form for Part-Time Teaching” printed on pages 3 and 4 of the notification. It asks for personal details, category (OC / SC / ST / BC (A, B, C, D, E)), addresses with PIN code, mobile number and email, academic qualifications with marks, research degrees, teaching and research experience, fields of specialisation and research publications.
2. Sign the undertaking at the end of the form, which certifies that the information is correct.
3. Prepare a complete bio-data with the details listed under Enclosures below.
4. Attach attested photocopies of your certificates and other documents.
5. Submit the form, the bio-data and the documents as a hard copy in the office of the Registrar at the address above, by 5.00 p.m. on or before 31 October 2026.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

All 9 vacancies are for the post of Part-Time Faculty. The notice lists them subject by subject, with the Rule of Reservation (ROR) roster points for each:

Eligibility Criteria (all four subjects)

The notice prints one set of eligibility criteria for all the services:

• Master’s Degree with 55% Marks in relevant subject (50% SC/ST).
• The candidates must have cleared the NET/SET/SLET. Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016 are exempted from NET/SET/SLET.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D. Qualification and Teaching Experience.

Pay and Terms

The remuneration to the part-time teachers will be paid as per the Satavahana University approved rates and the actual number of classes taken in a semester as per almanac. The notice does not print an amount. Part-time teachers are not entitled to any benefits from the University except the earmarked wages of part-time teaching arrangements, and they are in no way comparable to the regular teachers. The appointment is made purely on a temporary basis and may be terminated without any prior notice.

Selection Process

A selection committee will scrutinise the applications on the basis of educational qualification, a demo and interview, and the Rule of Reservation.

• Educational Qualification: Applications are scrutinised on qualifications. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
• Demo & Interview: Shortlisted candidates give a demo and attend an interview. The date of the interview will be announced later.
• Rule of Reservation: The Rule of Reservation is followed, using the roster points shown in the vacancy table.

The candidate scoring high marks will be considered for appointment.
