Kerala High Court Office Attendant Vacancy Details

There are a total of 17 (Seventeen) anticipated vacancies for the post of Office Attendant. Vacancies that may arise during the period of validity of the ranked list shall also be filled up from the list. As per Rule 11(2) of the Kerala High Court Service Rules, 2007 and in accordance with G.O. (P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023, 4% of vacancies in the category of Office Attendant are reserved for eligible differently abled candidates.

Nationality

Candidates must be qualified Indian Citizens.

Kerala High Court Office Attendant Qualification

Post Qualification Required
Office Attendant Should have passed S.S.L.C or equivalent and should not have acquired graduation. All qualifications must be acquired on or before the date of closure of filing of online application.

Differently Abled Benchmark Disabilities and Functional Requirements

Suitable categories of benchmark disabilities: (a) Blindness & Low vision (b) Deaf and Hard of Hearing (c) Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims, with minimum one functional arm and leg each (d) Autism Spectrum Disorder (Mild, Moderate), Intellectual Disability (Mild), Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness (40% to 70%) (e) Multiple disability involving above combinations.

Minimum functional requirement: Sitting, Standing, Walking, Manipulation by Fingers, Seeing.

Kerala High Court Office Attendant Age Limit

Candidates born between 02/01/1986 and 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply, with specific relaxations as follows:

  • Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes: Candidates born between 02/01/1981 and 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
  • Other Backward Classes: Candidates born between 02/01/1983 and 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
  • Ex-servicemen / Ex-GREF / Disembodied Territorial Army: Can exclude the period of service in defense forces, GREF, or Territorial Army, and the period of unemployment on discharge up to a maximum of five years, provided the candidate has not completed 50 years of age.

Candidates should either use system generated Fee Payment Challan or pay online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Bank transaction charges, if applicable, must be borne by the candidate. Payment of fee by Demand Draft, Cheque, Money Orders, Postal Orders, etc., will not be accepted. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection will be on the basis of Written Test and Interview.

The written test will be of Objective Type to be answered in an OMR Answer Sheet with a total duration of 75 minutes and 100 marks. Each question carries 1 mark. For every incorrect answer, 1/4 mark will be deducted. The medium of the test will be bilingual in English & Malayalam.

Interview

The interview carries 10 marks. The minimum marks required for being included in the ranked list is 35% in the interview.

  2. Read the notification and ‘How to apply’ instructions carefully, and keep scanned images of your photograph and signature ready.
  3. Ensure the passport size photograph has a white/light colored background with the face and shoulder clearly visible and centrally focused.

  • No Objection Certificate / Service Certificate from Head of Office or Department (for candidates in government service)

  • Applications must be submitted online through the recruitment portal; no other means or modes of applications will be accepted.
  • Candidates must not possess graduation as on the date fixed for closure of online application filing. Shortlisted candidates must submit an affidavit confirming this.
  • Candidates applying from abroad must forward an email detailing their location with public IP address to [emailΒ protected] to get access to the recruitment portal.
  • Caste, Community, Non-Creamy Layer, or EWS certificates must be valid on the date fixed for closure of filing of online application or on the date of certificate verification.
