Educational Qualification and Experience

Programme Officer: First division in M.A. / M.Sc. / B.E. / MRTM (Master of Rural Technology and Management) / Mathematics / Physics postgraduate degree. Additional weightage points are awarded for higher educational qualifications, computer practical test performance, and work experience in government rural development schemes at equivalent or higher pay scales (minimum 1 to 2 years up to more than 5 years).

Accountant: 55% marks in B.Com (50% for SC/ST and second division graduates from Bastar and Sarguja divisions). Additional weightage is provided for higher educational qualifications, computer practical test performance, and experience in government rural development schemes.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of 01-01-2026. The upper age limit is 45 years for government servants, corporation/board/contract employees, and municipal soldiers as per Chhattisgarh government rules. Age relaxations apply to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, Ex-servicemen, and women) according to state government circulars.

Selection Process

The selection process is based on merit prepared from minimum educational qualifications and work experience.
