1. Fill in the prescribed form. It asks for the post applied for, your name in Hindi and English, gender, father’s or husband’s name, mother’s name, date of birth and age as on 01.01.2026, category, Chhattisgarh domicile, permanent and postal addresses, mobile number and email (if any).
2. Give details of the essential educational qualification only (examination, board or university, year, marks obtained, maximum marks, percentage). Then give your experience (department or institution, post, from and to dates, total years and months, field of work) and your marital status, date of marriage and children’s details.
3. Paste a self-attested recent photograph on the form. List the enclosed certificates in item 17, then sign the form and the declaration.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all certificates and marksheets (see Enclosures).
5. Write the post name (“पद का नाम”) clearly on the envelope. An envelope without it will be rejected.
6. Send it by registered post or speed post so that it reaches the office by 5:30 PM on 5 November 2026, on an office working day and during office hours.

Applications delivered in person will not be accepted, and applications that arrive after the deadline will not be considered. If you work in a government institution, send your application through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Category-wise Vacancies

“मुक्त” means the post is open within that category and is not horizontally reserved.

Computer Programmer

• Qualification: First class – B.E. Computer Science / M.C.A. / M.Sc. (Computer Science) / B.E. (I.T.).
• Preference: Knowledge of Dot Net Technology / Java / MS SQL / Oracle is given priority.
• Experience counted for marks: work in government rural development schemes on at least the same pay scale.

Accountant

• Qualification: B.Com with 55 percent marks (B.Com with 50 percent for ST and SC candidates). For the Bastar and Surguja divisions, a B.Com passed in second division is enough.
• Experience counted for marks: work in government rural development schemes on at least the same pay scale.

Other Eligibility Conditions

• Only original residents of Chhattisgarh can apply. A domicile certificate issued by the competent authority must be attached.
• Certificates and degrees must come from institutions or universities recognised by the government. For computer qualifications, certificates must come from institutions recognised under the Chhattisgarh Government’s instructions.
• Anyone removed from any government department for indiscipline, misconduct, wilfulness or irregularity is not eligible.
• Anyone who married before the minimum legal age of marriage is not eligible for appointment.
• Anyone who married a person who already has a living husband or wife is not eligible. The government may waive this if it is satisfied there is enough reason.

Age Limit

Age is counted as on 1 January 2026. Under the Chhattisgarh GAD letter no. F 3-2/2015/3/1 dated 17.12.2015, local residents of Chhattisgarh get a 5-year relaxation on the maximum age of 35 years for direct recruitment posts until the end of calendar year 2026. This makes the age limit 40 years.

• The relaxations for SC, ST, OBC, persons with disabilities and women still apply. However, the maximum age with all relaxations together cannot be more than 45 years.
• Under letter no. ULE/644/2025-GAD-3 dated 16.09.2026 from the Secretary, Chhattisgarh Government, GAD, the maximum age is raised from 38 to 45 years for government servants, corporation or board employees, contract workers and home guards (नगर सैनिक) who apply for other services.

Candidates should check the discipline-specific eligibility for each post in the official notification.

Selection Process

A selection committee will run the selection on merit out of 100 marks. Marks come from your qualification percentage, a computer practical test, experience and, for the Computer Programmer post, knowledge of the listed technologies.

• If many applications arrive, 10 applicants per post will be called for the skill test or interview, in order of merit.
• Marks for qualification, experience and the skill test are added together. The candidate with the highest total will be appointed.
• A candidate who does not attend the computer practical test loses their candidature automatically.
• If a marksheet shows a grade instead of a percentage, the average percentage of that grade is used. For example, an A grade in Class 12 covering 80 to 90 percent is counted as 85 percent.
• When candidates have equal marks, the older candidate is selected first.
• Marks are based only on the certificates attached to the original application. Educational or experience certificates sent with claims or objections after the provisional list is published will not be accepted.

Enclosures

• High School (Class 10) certificate as proof of date of birth
• Category certificate issued by the competent authority
• Chhattisgarh domicile certificate issued by the competent authority
• Self-attested certificates and marksheets for the educational qualifications

Every certificate and marksheet must be self-attested. Applications without self-attestation will be treated as invalid.

Important Instructions

• The contract is for 1 year. After that, if needed, it may be extended one year at a time under government instructions. The decision depends on work ability, efficiency, Annual Performance Appraisal and conduct.
• All terms of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules, 2012 apply, as set out in GAD memo no. F-9-1/2012/1-3 dated 10/07/2019. Leave entitlement also follows these rules.
• Contract staff are governed by the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965.
• Either side can end the appointment by giving one month’s notice or one month’s pay in lieu of notice.
• Contract service does not give any right to pension, gratuity or death benefits.
• Incomplete, unclear or wrong applications will be rejected without any separate notice.
• Candidates who try to influence the appointment process directly or indirectly may have their candidature cancelled. If any information turns out to be false, the candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the process or after selection.
• The eligible and ineligible lists, the claim-objection list, the timetable, the skill test call and all other updates will be put up on the notice boards of District Panchayat Janjgir-Champa and Sakti. They will also be published on janjgir-champa.gov.in and sakti.cg.gov.in. No individual letters will be sent by post.
