Educational Qualification

• Minimum Requirement: 10th standard from a Government recognized School.

Preferred Skills and Work Experience

• Preference will be given to candidates who have a certificate in Hospitality/Housekeeping/Hostel Maintenance.
• Duration: 6 months to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Relevant environments: prior experience working in hostels, hotels, guest houses, hospitals or student dormitories.
• Key tasks: proven experience in handling industrial cleaning equipment, chemical safety, bed-making and deep-cleaning bathrooms.
• Candidates with good oral communication skills in Hindi, Marathi and preferably English will be given preference.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend and lift heavy items (like mattresses or laundry bags) for long hours.
• Interpersonal Skills: A polite, friendly manner, because hostels involve frequent, direct interaction with international and young travellers.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize and clean several rooms or floors efficiently within check-out and check-in windows.
• Attention to Detail: Spotting maintenance issues (like broken lights or leaking pipes) and reporting them to management immediately.

Age Limit

Candidates should preferably be below 40 years as on 30 October 2026. The Institute reserves the right to relax any of the qualification, experience or age limit in exceptional cases. It may also relax them for a person who already holds an analogous position in a Government Department, a Research and Academic Institution or Industry.
