SBI SCO Recruitment 2026-27 Selection Process
For Dean and Faculty Posts (Advt No. 20)
- Shortlisting, followed by Interview cum Demo Session.
- Interview/Demo Session carries 100 marks; the qualifying marks are decided by the Bank.
For Marketing Executive (Advt No. 20) and Both IT Risk Posts (Advt No. 22)
- Shortlisting, followed by Interview.
Common Selection Process (Both Notifications)
- Shortlisting: A shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank decides the shortlisting parameters; merely fulfilling minimum qualification and experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. The Bank’s decision is final, with no correspondence entertained.
- CTC Negotiation: Conducted with candidates in order of merit, one by one. If a selected candidate does not agree to the negotiated CTC, they are treated as a Voluntary Exit, and the next candidate in the merit list is called for negotiation.
- Merit List: Prepared in descending order based on interview marks only. In case of a tie at the cut-off, candidates are ranked by age in descending order (older candidate ranked higher).
- Final Selection: Top-most candidates in the merit list with whom CTC negotiation is successful are finally selected.
Shortlisting is provisional and without verification of original documents; candidature is subject to verification of all details/documents against originals at the time of interview. If a candidate called for interview/CTC negotiation is found not satisfying the eligibility criteria (age, educational qualification, experience, etc.), they will not be allowed to appear for interview, and no travelling expenses will be reimbursed.
