Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), located at Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, is conducting this walk-in interview for a temporary Project Assistant (PA) position. The appointment is under the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) IRG-research funded project titled “Utilizing Fruit Waste for Sustainable Nanoparticle-Based Food Packaging in Arunachal Pradesh”. The project is being carried out under the Principal Investigatorship of Dr. Thupten Tsomu, Assistant Professor, Department of Horticulture, RGU (vide e-file comp no.2496, file no.RGUPC-62002026/1/2026-O/o JR (Note#5)).

Posts and Eligibility

Applications are invited for 01 temporary position of Project Assistant. The essential educational qualification required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology.

The following requirements are desirable:

• Candidates with M.Sc. (Hort.)/Ph.D. (Hort.) in Fruit Science or Vegetable Science or Post-harvest technology.
• Previous research experience in Fruit crops.
• Familiarity with Nanoparticle-Based Food Packaging.

Tenure and Terms of Appointment

The recruitment will be purely on a temporary basis for the stated period only. The initial appointment will be for 01 year, which is further extendable till the completion of the project, based on performance. All the terms and conditions for this recruitment will be as per the guidelines of ANRF, Govt. of India (GOI).
