Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. (EPI), a Government of India Enterprise, has one post of Consultant/Expert -IT at E8-level/Level-14 in New Delhi under Advt. No. HRM/REC/08/2026. The pay is a fixed consolidated amount worked out from the last pay drawn, up to Rs. 1,50,000/-. Candidates need at least 22 years of post-qualification experience. The job is for one year at first and can be extended up to a maximum of 3 years. The application goes in hard copy by courier or post. It carries out a wide range of turnkey projects in the Power, Steel, Industrial, Civil and Infrastructure sectors. Its HR department is at Core-3, SCOPE Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Who Can Apply

Essential Qualification

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech (Preferably Electronics & Communication/IT/Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics or equivalent).
• The qualification must be recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education, the University Grant Commission and/or any other Statutory Authority/Board.

Experience

• Minimum 22 years of post-qualification experience in Telecommunications/IT Project Management or technical leadership.
• Years of service as a freelancer, self-employed person or in one’s own business do not count as post-qualification experience.

Desirable

• Experience in Network Management Systems, Element Management Systems/OSS (Operational Support Systems), network design, and scalable IT system design and architecture.
• Experience of working with Government Departments/PSUs.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 64 years as on the last date of application (2 November 2026).

Pay and Terms

The Consultant/Expert -IT gets a Fixed Consolidated Remuneration, worked out as follows:

“Last Pay Drawn” means the last Basic Pay plus DA at the time of retirement.

• The engagement is for an initial period of 1 year. It can be extended up to a maximum of 3 years or until the consultant turns 65, whichever comes first.
• Any extension depends on satisfactory performance and on what the organisation needs.
• The selected candidate will have no claim to a regular appointment with EPI.
• The place of posting is New Delhi.

2. Fill in the form, paste your photograph and sign the declaration. Write N.A. in any column that does not apply to you.

4. On the envelope, write “Application for the post of Consultant/ Expert – IT”.

Selection Process

Applications will be shortlisted for an interview. To be shortlisted, an applicant must meet the required qualification and experience for the post. EPI will put the list of shortlisted candidates on its website and tell those candidates the interview date by email. The list of selected candidates will also be put on EPI’s website. Meeting the essential qualification does not guarantee selection, and sending an application does not guarantee a call for interview.
