Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited has 1 Unreserved vacancy for Assistant Officer (IPD) Compliance in E0 Grade, open to graduates of any discipline with at least 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience. RCF Ltd is a Government of India Undertaking and describes itself as a profit-making “Navratna” company that manufactures and markets Fertilizers and Industrial Chemicals, with revenues from operation of around Rs. 18690.90 crores. Its manufacturing units are in Maharashtra, at Thal in Raigad district and at Trombay in Chembur, Mumbai, and it has a National Level Marketing Network. Its administrative office is at Administrative Building, Chembur, Mumbai- 400 074.

RCF Assistant Officer Vacancy Details 2026

The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase or decrease at the discretion of RCF Ltd. A panel of candidates shall also be proposed for unforeseen vacancies arising within one year from the date of empanelment.

Pay Structure

The approximate gross figure includes Basic pay, VDA (55.7%), Perks (34%) and HRA (30% for class A cities and applicable rates for other cities). HRA will be as per the rules of the company. Initial pay will be fixed at the lowest of the pay in the grade, and no protection of pay is admissible to candidates joining from other PSUs, Central Government or State Government.

• Ensuring compliance with regulations laid down by PESO, and managing and coordinating the transportation of Ammonium Nitrate (Melt.)
• Monitoring statutory and regulatory compliance as per PESO guidelines

• Ensuring adherence to prescribed safety standards and transportation norms

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 46 years for the Unreserved category as on 01 August 2026. This cut-off date also applies to the minimum educational qualification and will remain unchanged.

Educational Qualification

Three years Regular and Fulltime Graduate in any discipline from a university recognized by UGC/AICTE. Candidates should have secured minimum 55% in Final Year / aggregate of Last Two Semesters of the graduation degree.

Where a CGPA/OGPA grade is awarded, the candidate must obtain the equivalent percentage from the University/Institute and mention it in the application. If no conversion norms exist, the grade will be presumed to be on a 10 points scale. Conversion norms, or proof that there are none, must be produced at the Skill Test.

Mandatory Experience

Candidates must have minimum 15 years’ relevant post-qualification experience as on 01 August 2026. Training, internship and apprenticeship periods are not counted.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in explosive industry and Ammonium Nitrate compliance.

Age Relaxation and Reservation

• Children/family members of the victims of 1984 riots get an additional concession of 5 years.
• Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwBD candidates are as per DPE guidelines.
• Reserved category candidates applying for a post with no vacancy in their category will be treated as General candidates, and no relaxation in any criteria will apply.

Application Fee

The fee is non-refundable and is paid online through internet banking or a credit/debit card; cash is not accepted. It will be refunded only if the advertisement is cancelled due to administrative reasons.

Selection Process

For E0 Grade, the selection process comprises a Skill Test, which will be conducted on a suitable earliest date. All eligible candidates will be provisionally called, and documents will be verified before the test. Call letters are intimated by SMS and/or email.

A candidate has to secure minimum 60 marks out of 100 to qualify. The test is of qualifying nature (Suitable or Unsuitable for the post). Qualifying alone does not mean selection, because the number of candidates empanelled is limited to the number of vacancies and the waitlist.

If candidates secure equal marks, merit is decided in this order:

1. Percentage of marks in the qualifying examination
2. Highest percentage in the SSC examination
3. Date of birth, with the candidate born earlier considered senior

A waitlist shall be prepared in the ratio of 1:2, meaning 2 candidates for each selected post. It will be valid for one year.

Pre-Employment Medical Exam

Selection is subject to being declared Medically Fit by the RCF Ltd designated Physician. The examination comprises physical examination, audiometry, electrocardiogram, vision and eye tests, blood and urine pathology, chest X-ray P.A. view, lung function test, height and weight, body mass index and any further examination the RCF Medical Officer recommends. Original documents may be required at this stage for final verification.

Travel Reimbursement

Outstation candidates will be reimbursed to and fro III tier AC Train or Bus fare (restricted to III tier AC Rail fare) from the nearest railway station of their correspondence address, by the shortest route, on production of receipts. The amount is transferred to a bank account. Candidates declared ineligible or without complete original documents will not be allowed to attend and will not get TA.

Service Conditions

• Posting may be at the Trombay or Thal units, Area Offices or All India Marketing Offices of the company throughout India, or at any project site decided by the Management.
• The job requires working in rotating shifts including night shift, and a high level of physical fitness.
• Candidates may be posted in any plant or location subject to exigencies of work.
• Candidates possessing a higher qualification will get no consequential benefits for it later in service. No NOC will be provided to a candidate pursuing a higher qualification at the time of joining.

2. Fill in your age, date of birth, qualification, division and percentage of marks, year of passing, School/College/University and work experience. Use your full name as it appears on the matriculation school certificate.
3. Upload your photograph, signature and scanned supporting documents.
4. Pay the application fee online, if applicable.
5. Check the details, correct any errors and press the “Submit Form” button. No changes are possible after this.
6. Note the Unique Application Number and print the application form. Keep a photocopy for future reference.

Upload Specifications

Keep valid bank details ready as well: Account Number, IFSC code, MICR code and PAN number, which are needed for reimbursement of Travelling Allowance. There is no later chance to upload, change or correct documents, and applications without the required documents will be rejected.

Documents to Carry to the Skill Test

• Call letter, with the original and a photocopy of a valid photo identity bearing exactly the same name. Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not valid.
• Acknowledgement or receipt of online payment
• Printout of the online application forwarded through Proper Channel, or a No Objection Certificate, for candidates employed in government bodies or Public Sector Undertakings
• Caste certificate and Caste Validity certificate, wherever applicable

Annexures I to VI of the advertisement give the OBC NCL, SC/ST, PwBD and Income and Asset certificate formats, the list of documents to be uploaded and the undertaking for experience. A matriculation certificate issued by a Board of Secondary Education is the only accepted proof of age. Candidates who changed their name need the original Gazette notification, marriage certificate or affidavit.

Canvassing in any form is a disqualification for employment. Using unfair means or carrying a mobile phone into the skill test hall can lead to disqualification, debarment from future RCF recruitment or termination of service.
