PFI Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

Power Foundation of India (PFI) has announced 4 vacancies for the Executive Trainee (Electrical) post under its 2026 recruitment drive. Candidates holding a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering can apply online from 13 October 2026 to 3 November 2026. The position offers a pay of Rs. 11 lakh per annum for a one-year training programme, followed by a one-year probation period and a service bond. Applicants must upload their recent photograph, signature, and GATE-2025 scorecard in Electrical Engineering (EE). The selection process involves shortlisting based on the GATE-2025 score followed by a personal interview, and candidates with GATE scores from any other year cannot apply.

Who Can Apply

Qualification

Candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree. Additionally, candidates must have appeared in GATE-2025 in Electrical Engineering (EE) and should possess a minimum 70% GATE-2025 score.

Age

The upper age limit shall be 27 years as on 01.10.2026.

Who Cannot Apply

Candidates who have not appeared in GATE-2025 in Electrical Engineering (EE), or those holding GATE scores from any year other than GATE-2025, are not eligible. Candidates without the prescribed full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or those with less than 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) cannot apply.

Stipend and Training Period

Selected candidates shall be appointed as Executive Trainee (Electrical) on a regular or full-time basis and shall undergo a structured one-year training programme. The proposed remuneration is tentatively Rs. 11 lakh per annum as per PFI policy, depending upon the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, competencies, and overall suitability. Trainees are also entitled to PF, gratuity, medical or insurance coverage, and other applicable benefits.

5. Upload the matriculation or 10th certificate as proof of date of birth.
6. Upload the degree or provisional degree certificate along with marksheets of all semesters or years.
7. Ensure that the information furnished in the application is correct and complete, then submit the application online on or before 03.11.2026.

Selection Process

The selection process comprises two stages:

• Stage-I: Shortlisting based on GATE-2025 score: Candidates are shortlisted for the next stage based on their GATE-2025 score in Electrical Engineering (EE).
• Stage-II: Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview. The final merit is prepared with 75% weightage given to the GATE-2025 score and 25% to the Personal Interview.
