OUAT Recruitment 2026 – Walkin for 6 Consultant, Field Assistant Posts

Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) is conducting a walk-in interview to fill 6 contract vacancies for Consultant and Field Assistant posts under a project. The walk-in interview is scheduled for 22 October 2026, reporting at 10:00 AM, at Committee Room of the Dean of Research, Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar. Eligible candidates attending the walk-in must appear with original certificates for verification, along with the application as per ANNEXURE-I duly signed and accompanied by self-attested copies of all testimonials, age proof, passport size photograph, and experience certificate. The notified pay for the posts is Rs. 75,000 for Consultant and Rs. 15,000 for Field Assistant. Selection involves document verification, written examination and skill test.

Posts and Eligibility

Age Limit: Consultant: Maximum 65 years. Field Assistant: Maximum 45 years. Minimum age limit is 21 years for candidates.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC, ST, and Women candidates.

OUAT Consultant Job Description

• Consultant: Preparation of plan of work and overall supervision, report etc.
• Field Assistant: Assisting in Field/ Lab / Sample collection / trial / Lab analysis of the project work etc. at KVKs and Head Quarters.

What to Bring

• Application form duly filled and signed as per the format given at ANNEXURE-I.
• Self-attested copies of all testimonials, age proof, and experience certificates.
• Passport-size photograph attached to the application.
• All original certificates starting from HSCE or equivalent onwards.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer, if applicable.

What Happens on the Day

Candidates must report at the venue by 10:00 AM for document verification. If the number of applicants for any particular position exceeds 15, the assessment will include a written examination and skill test starting sharply at 10:30 AM.
