Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: A degree from a recognised university. Nine years experience in executive cadre in the field of General Administration, Personnel, Industrial Relations etc. in an Industrial/ Commercial/ Govt. Undertaking.

• Age limit: Maximum 40 years

Other conditions:

• Only eligible and willing officers of Major Port Authorities can apply, through proper channel.
• Eligibility is determined as on the last date of receipt of the application, 28-11-2026.

Desirable:

• Post Graduate degree/diploma in personnel management/industrial relations/social work/labour welfare or allied subjects or degree in Law from a recognised institution/university.

Who Cannot Apply for NMPA Recruitment 2026

• Applications without the requisite documents, received after 14-12-2026, will not be considered.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

The officer can opt for the pay fixed in the deputation post, or for the pay of the parent department plus deputation allowance.

• Deputation period is 3 years, extendable to 4 years.
• In exceptional circumstances it can be extended to 5 years.
