National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is a technical support institution under the National Health Mission (NHM), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. NHSRC works closely with the MoHFW and the States for Health Systems strengthening and supporting implementation of other interventions under the NHM. Work at the NHSRC is organised around eight divisions, namely Community Processes & Comprehensive Primary Care, Healthcare Financing, Healthcare Technology, Human Resources for Health, Information Technology, Knowledge Management Division, Public Health Administration and Quality & Patient Safety.

Vacancy Details

The recruitment drive aims to fill 1 vacancy for the Consultant – QA (Quality Assurance) / Test Engineer (Short Term) position in the IT Division. The position reports to the Principal Team Lead- Technical NHSRC and requires a strong moral and ethical code of conduct with an essence of integrity, confidentiality while undertaking the responsibility.

Who Can Apply

Candidates must fulfill the essential qualifications and experience requirements specified for the position:

• Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.E./M.Tech. from a recognized university or institution.
• Experience: 5 years or more. Experience working on Government IT Projects at the National level is desirable.

Pay and Tenure

The remuneration range is between Rs.75000/- to Rs. 100000/- per month. The fee offered within the band will be commensurate with qualification and experience. This is a short-term assignment, and preference will be given to candidates residing within the Delhi/NCR region. The selected candidate will be required to join within 7 days.

The expected roles of the incumbent are:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans for various portals.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of applications built on Web, Android, IOS and JavaScript (React) platforms by implementing robust testing strategies.
• Validate API integrations and third-party services to ensure seamless data exchange and compliance with system requirements.
• Conduct security and compliance testing to meet government IT standards and data integrity protocols.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (eg: Jira), collaborating with developers for quick resolution.
• Optimize testing processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Ability to identify defects, analyze root causes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance product quality.
