LUVAS Teaching Associate Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 8 Posts

Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar (LUVAS) has announced 8 temporary vacancies for Teaching Associate (Dairy Technology), Teaching Associate (Dairy Engineering), Teaching Associate (Dairy Chemistry), and Teaching Associate (Dairy Microbiology) posts under advertisement number LUVAS/CoDST/TA/2026/01. Eligible candidates must apply through the offline application process by submitting the filled-up form along with self-attested photocopies of required certificates by hand or through post to The Dean CoDST, LUVAS, Hisar, Haryana on or before 5 November 2026. Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline. The notified pay for all posts is Rs. 60,000 per month, and engagement is on a purely temporary, non-regular, non-tenurial and time-bound basis for the Academic Year 2026-27.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech./B.Sc./B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a recognized institute.
• Master’s Degree (M.Tech./M.Sc./M.V.Sc.) in the relevant subject from a recognized institute.
• Preference shall be given to candidates possessing a Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject from a recognized institute.

Selection Process

The selection is based on a 100-mark evaluation criterion comprising academic degrees, additional qualifications, a power point presentation, and an interview.

• Bachelor’s Degree: Maximum 20 marks (on pro-rata system)
• Master’s Degree: Maximum 20 marks (on pro-rata system)
• Doctoral Degree: Maximum 10 marks (on pro-rata system)
• Additional Qualifications: University level academic awards like Gold Medal (05 marks); Publications with NAAS rating ≥6 (1 mark each) and NAAS rating <6 (0.5 mark each) up to 10 marks.
• Power Point Presentation: Maximum 15 marks on any topic of the candidate’s choice as an undergraduate teacher.
• Performance in Interview: Maximum 20 marks.

• Candidates belonging to states other than Haryana will be treated as General category candidates.
• Applicants applying for different types of positions must submit a separate application form for each position.
• Applicants applying under any reserved category must attach a self-attested copy of the relevant category certificate.
• The engagement is purely temporary, non-regular, non-tenurial, and time-bound for the Academic Year 2026-27 (co-terminus in June 2027) and is not against any sanctioned post.
• Selected candidates shall be entitled only to 15 Casual Leaves and 02 Restricted Holidays in an academic year, with no other allowances or benefits.
• Selected candidates must join duty within 15 days from the date of issue of the order.
• Selected candidates must produce a medical certificate of fitness from the CMO of the university at the time of joining.
• Applications will be summarily rejected if unsigned, incomplete, not on the prescribed form, missing essential qualifications, or received after the last date.
