GGSGH Consultant Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline

Guru Govind Singh Govt Hospital (GGSGH) has announced 5 vacancies for the Consultant post on a contract basis. Interested candidates can apply offline by submitting their applications in person or by post in a sealed envelope to The Medical Superintendent, First floor, Block-B, Guru Govind Singh Hospital, Government of NCT of Delhi on or before 21 October 2026. Applicants must be retired Government officials from the posts of Senior Assistant, Assistant Section Officer, or up to Section Officer with relevant experience. The remuneration is regulated as per prevailing instructions and orders of the Finance Department. The selection process involves the scrutiny of applications followed by an interview.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

• Eligibility: Retired Government officials from the posts of Senior Assistant / Assistant Section Officer, up to Section Officer.
• Experience: Experience in establishment, administration, accounts, office procedure, file processing, drafting, record management, etc.
• Service Record: Applicant should have a clean service record and vigilance status report.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of scrutiny of applications, verification of documents, preparation of a list of suitable candidates, and an interview.

• The engagement is purely temporary and contractual in nature initially for six months or till regular incumbents join through DSSSB / Health & Family Welfare, whichever is earlier.
• Selected retired officials shall not have any claim for regular appointment or continuation.
• Maximum age limit and other eligibility conditions are as per Government instructions issued from time to time.
• The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
• The number of posts may increase or decrease as per administrative requirements.
• Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date shall not be considered.
