Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
• Age limit: Maximum 45 years (as on the date of Interview)
• Age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, EBC/BC 3 years, Female candidates (all categories) 3 years

Other conditions:

• Only Indian citizens may attend
• Reservation benefit applies to Bihar State domicile candidates only
• Post is non-practising; private practice of any kind, including laboratory, is prohibited
• Stay in campus is compulsory if accommodation is provided; otherwise HRA as per rules

Who Cannot Apply for IGIMS Recruitment 2026

• Employed candidates without a No Objection Certificate will not be considered for selection

• Legal bond: one month’s emoluments for every year of the programme not completed on leaving mid-way

3. Get a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (UR/EWS/BC) or Rs.250/- (SC/ST/EBC) payable to The Director, IGIMS, Patna.
4. Attach copies of all supporting certificates and documents.
5. Report up to 10.00 AM on 17-11-2026 at the chamber of HOD, Dept. of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, PGIDER, IGIMS, Patna-14.
6. Bring all originals, and thesis and publication as a PPT in a pen-drive.

Other Points to Note

• Number of vacancies may increase or decrease
• If eligible female candidates are unavailable (where applicable), male candidates may be considered
