The Audit Wing of ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, is engaging Young Professional-I (F&A) and Young Professional-II (F&A) on a contractual basis for an initial tenure of one year with consolidated emoluments of ₹30,000 and ₹42,000 per month, respectively. The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is a premier institute for agricultural research and education under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Located at Pusa, New Delhi, the institute conducts these engagements through its Personnel-V Section to support work in its Audit Wing on a purely temporary contractual basis.

A total of 2 contractual posts are announced under this notification, distributed equally between both levels.

Who Can Apply

Candidates must ensure they meet the educational qualification, minimum marks, professional experience, and age criteria before submitting their application.

Age Limit

The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 45 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications (20 November 2026).

Pay and Tenure

The engagement is purely temporary and contractual. The initial appointment will be for one year, which may be extended annually up to a maximum of three years (1+1+1) subject to satisfactory performance and ICAR guidelines issued vide OM No. Agril.Edn.1-06/2020-A&P dated 04.12.2020.

Selected candidates receive fixed monthly consolidated emoluments of ₹30,000 for Young Professional-I and ₹42,000 for Young Professional-II. No House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be admissible. For domestic official tours, travel entitlement and daily allowances are:

• Young Professional-I: AC 3-tier/AC Chair Car travel and daily allowance of ₹1,200 per day.
• Young Professional-II: AC 2-tier/AC Chair Car travel and daily allowance of ₹1,500 per day.

1. Download the prescribed application format (Annexure I) from the official notification.
2. Fill in all required particulars, including personal information, contact address, educational qualifications from Class X onwards, and professional experience.
3. Affix an attested passport-size photograph on the form and sign the declaration.
4. Prepare clear scanned copies of the filled form along with self-attested copies of Class X onwards certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates, and No Objection Certificate (NOC) if employed.
5. If any near or distant relative works in ICAR/IARI, fill and sign the relative declaration form.
6. Send the application along with all scanned documents as an email attachment to [email protected] on or before 20 November 2026.

Selection and Interview

Only candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications will be called for the interview. Document verification of original credentials will take place at the time of the interview.

• Interview Date: 25 November 2026.
• Young Professional-I (F&A): Reporting time is 9:30 AM; interview begins at 10:00 AM.
• Young Professional-II (F&A): Reporting time is 2:00 PM; interview begins at 2:30 PM.

• The engagement is strictly contractual and does not confer any right to regular appointment or absorption in ICAR-IARI or ICAR. Failure to maintain discipline or to perform assigned duties may result in termination of the engagement in accordance with applicable ICAR rules.
• Candidates must produce all original documents for verification at the interview; any false claim will result in immediate rejection.
• Candidates currently employed must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview.
• Candidates whose near or distant relatives are employed by ICAR/IARI must submit the prescribed declaration by post or email on or before 20 November 2026. Candidates who do not have any near or distant relatives working at ICAR/IARI must submit the declaration at the time of the interview.
• Working hours will be the same as those applicable to regular employees.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.
• Selected candidates must submit a signed Declaration of Secrecy and Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to joining.
• Selected candidates must provide a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by an MBBS doctor at their own expense and complete police verification within 15 days of joining.
• Leave entitlement is 8 days of casual leave and 2 restricted holidays per calendar year. Female candidates are entitled to maternity leave as per applicable rules.
• Unauthorized absence for 8 consecutive days may lead to termination of the contract.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• Any dispute arising in connection with this engagement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi.
