Master degree in Vegetable Science/ Horticulture/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Biotechnology with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree with 3 years Bachelor degree and 2 years Master degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13-07-2015 and OM No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD dt. 09-10-2015 of the Council and OMSR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30-01-2019.Desirable: Experience in handling plant growth and yield experiments, crop data recording, and basic statistical analysis in vegetable crops related to the DUS testing.
Young Professional-I (YP-I)
Graduate with at least 60% marks in relevant Agriculture Sciences/ Engineering/ Technology as per ICAR OM No. F. No. Agricul.Edn.1-06/2020-A&P dated 04.12.2020.Desirable:One YP-I: Experience in laboratory work related to PCR, genomics and molecular markers.One YP-I: Experience in handling plant growth and yield experiments, crop data recording, and basic statistical analysis.
ICAR IARI Age Limit

ICAR IARI Important Instructions
The engagement is purely temporary and contractual for one year or till completion/termination of the concerned project, whichever is earlier.
All posts are co-terminus with the respective project, and selected candidates shall have no claim for regular appointment or absorption in ICAR/IARI.
Applications will be screened, and only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be informed by email regarding the date and time of the offline interview.
No TA/DA or any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
Concealment of facts or submission of false information will lead to disqualification or termination of candidature.
Candidates having near or distant relatives employed in ICAR/IARI must declare the details in Annexure-II.
