Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: A. (i) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university; A. (ii) Cleared NET conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET, or awarded a Ph.D. per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016; OR B. Ph.D. from a foreign university/institution ranked among top 500 in QS, THE or ARWU World University Ranking (at any time)

Other conditions:

• Knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi is essential, as the medium of instruction at all levels is generally Gujarati
• Other conditions as per UGC Regulations, 2018, amended from time to time

Who Cannot Apply for Gujarat Vidyapith Recruitment 2026

• A candidate furnishing incorrect or false information shall stand disqualified
