Laboratory Attendant (4 posts)

Qualification required: Passed Secondary School certificate/ examination from a recognized Board/ Institution; Knowledge of Konkani; 15 years Residence certificate; at least one year working experience. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi; basic knowledge of handling chemicals/ glassware; multi-tasking skills. Experience required: At least one year working experience at the time of filing of the Application Form (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities exempted for posts reserved for them). Age limit: Maximum 45 years. Pay: Level 1.

Multi-tasking Staff (2 posts)

Qualification required: Passed Secondary School Certificate/examination from a recognized Board/ Institution OR passed course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or equivalent trade from a recognized Institution; Knowledge of Konkani; 15 years Residence certificate; at least one year working experience. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi; multi-tasking skills. Experience required: At least one year working experience at the time of filing of the Application Form. Age limit: Maximum 45 years. Pay: Level 1.

How Will GSPCB Select Candidates?

• Written examination (MCQ, 75 marks, one and half hour)
• Verification of documents
• Selection strictly as per marks in written examination; no marks for educational qualifications
• Konkani section of 10 marks; only candidates scoring minimum 04 marks are evaluated further
• Minimum passing marks: UR and Ex-Serviceman 45%, OBC 40%, ST/PwD 35%
• Tie: older date of birth ranks first, then higher educational qualification

GSPCB Exam Pattern 2026

• Multiple Choice Questions; total 75 marks; one and half hour
• Report 30 minutes before scheduled examination time
• Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour for visual impairment, cerebral palsy and locomotor disabilities
