Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (GTDC) has notified 1 vacancy for the post of Manager (Marketing). Applicants must hold a Degree in any faculty, Full time PGDM/MBA in Marketing, along with 5 years experience including 2 years in Tourism and hospitality sector. The notified pay for the post is 9300-34800 Level 06. The selection process includes a screening test if the number of applications is substantially more than the number of posts, followed by a written examination.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Essential Qualifications:

• Degree in any faculty from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Full time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management / Post Graduate Diploma in Management / Masters of Business Administration from a recognized University with specialisation in Marketing.
• Minimum 5 years work experience out of which at least 2 years should be in Tourism and hospitality Sector.
• Knowledge of Computers.
• Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable Qualification:

• Knowledge of Marathi.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years. Relaxable for Government servants up to five years in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time.

Selection Process

If the number of applications is substantially more than the number of posts advertised, GTDC shall hold a screening test for the candidates for the purpose of selection. The recruitment involves a written examination conducted as per O.M. no.1/6/83-PER (Vol.II) Pt.(a)/143 dated 14/01/2019. The examination syllabus carries a total of 100 marks distributed across General knowledge (30 marks), Knowledge of Marketing/ sales/ Financial Management/ tourism Industry/ culture/ history of State of Goa (50 marks), and Knowledge of computers (20 marks).
