Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: MBBS with P.G. Degree/DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized University/Institution; Valid registration from Delhi Medical Council or must have DMC acknowledgment slip on or before the date of interview
• Age limit: 45 years for UR, 48 years for OBC (Delhi) (as on date of interview)
• Age relaxation: UR 45, OBC (Delhi) 48

Other conditions:

• OBC candidates must submit their Caste Certificate along with Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate issued after 31.03.2026 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

Who Cannot Apply for GNEC Recruitment 2026

• Candidates who have completed 03 years of Senior Residency in any recognized Institution/Hospital

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Appointment shall be purely on adhoc and emergent basis for a period of 44 days or till regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier.
• Maximum tenure of Senior Residency shall be 03 years.

How to Apply for GNEC Recruitment 2026

1. Report to the Low Vision Clinic for enrollment and verification of documents on 03.11.2026 between 09.30 AM to 11.30 AM.
2. Bring filled application form in Annexure-I along with original and one set of self-attested photocopies of required documents and 2 passport size photographs.

Other Points to Note

• No candidate shall be allowed to enter after 11.30 AM on the day of interview.
