Department of Agriculture Animal Husbandry and Co-operative West Singhbhum Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 15 Crop Guard Posts

Department of Agriculture Animal Husbandry and Co-operative West Singhbhum has announced 15 vacancies for the Crop Guard post on a contract basis for 11 months or until regular appointment, whichever is earlier. Candidates can apply through the prescribed offline process by sending their application by speed post or registered post to the Office of the Junior Plant Protection Officer, Combined Agriculture Building, Xavier Nagar, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa from 15 October 2026 to 30 October 2026 up to 5:00 PM. The required qualification for the post includes Matric / Secondary (10th) passed, 5 days training, local language knowledge, cycle and tree climbing proficiency, and being a resident of the block, with a pay of Rs. 11,851 per month.

Eligibility Details

• Educational Qualification: Minimum Matric / Secondary (10th) passed from a recognised educational institution.
• Training: Mandatory minimum 5 days training from agriculture and horticulture directorate under the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Co-operative.
• Language: Knowledge of local language.
• Skills: Proficiency in cycling and tree climbing.
• Residency: Must be a resident of the block related to the Plant Protection Centre.

Age Limit

Minimum age limit is 18 years, and maximum age limit will be that determined by the government for various categories from time to time.
