CUSAT Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

• Associate Professor:
  • B.Tech in Marine/ Mechanical Engineering/ Naval Architecture
  • First Class Certificate of Competency (MEO Class-l C.O.C)
  • TOTA / VICT course certificate on joining
  • 12 years of relevant experience out of which at least 2 years shall be in the position of Chief Engineer officer onboard merchant ships.
• Assistant Professor:
  • Master’s degree in Mathematics with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where ever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • National Eligibility Test(NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC(the essential qualification shall be in compliance with the UGC Regulations 2018). OR Ph.D in the concerned /allied /relevant disciplines.
