Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Sciences from a recognized university/institution; OR Degree in Maths/Statistics/Operational Research/Economics with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application/Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized university/institution; OR Degree in Engineering with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application/Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized university/institution
• Experience: Officers holding analogous posts or Assistant Director (EDP)/Assistant Director (Research) and other equivalent posts in the scale of pay of Rs.9100-15100 with five year service in the grade in P&R Division in a Major Port Trust
• Age limit: Age limit for direct recruits does not apply to absorption/deputation (as on 1 November 2026)

Other conditions:

• Open only to officers of Major Port Authorities on absorption/deputation basis
• Vigilance report in the prescribed format (Annexure-III)
• Details of any major or minor penalty in the last 10 years to be sent by the forwarding authority

Desirable:

• Post Graduate Degree in Maths/Statistics/Operational Research/Economics
