• Lead planning and delivery of projects across the assigned region for central/state departments, medical colleges, AIIMS-type institutes and government hospitals.
• Set and approve technical and commercial strategies for proposals, tenders, specifications and BOQs.
• Ensure compliance with GFR, Department of Expenditure procurement manuals, CVC guidelines, GeM, Make in India and MSE procurement policy.
• Oversee vendor empanelment, negotiations and contract approvals, including extensions and variations within delegated financial powers.
• Engage with institute leadership and central/state departments for projects under schemes.
• Oversee audit, RTI, grievance and dispute matters, including responses to CAG, CVC and statutory audits.
• Review project and service performance against timelines, cost, quality, safety, uptime and SLAs; oversee billing and payment controls.
• Ensure smooth transition to warranty and CAMC and monitor service revenue, margins and recoveries.
• Provide overall supervision, leadership and performance monitoring of Biomedical Managers and Biomedical Engineers, ensuring effective project execution, coordination and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with institute directors, medical superintendents, government departments and consultants.
• Drive business development, new project opportunities and process improvements; report performance and key risks to top management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
