HLL Operations Manager (Electrical) Job Description

• Design: Prepare and review electrical designs, SLDs, load calculations, BOQs and estimates, coordinating with architects and other engineering teams.
• HT/LT systems: Design, supervise and commission 11/33 kV substations, transformers, panels and LT distribution, with proper earthing and IS compliance.
• Critical power: Ensure uninterrupted, redundant supply (DG, AMF, ATS, UPS) to OTs, ICUs, cath labs, MRI/CT, emergency and other critical areas.
• Building services: Coordinate power needs for HVAC, lifts, fire-fighting, labs (BSL-2/3) and ELV systems such as fire alarm, CCTV, BMS and nurse call.
• Execution: Supervise contractors, review submittals and drawings, run integrated testing and commissioning, and ensure handover documentation.
• O&M: Plan preventive and predictive maintenance, monitor load and energy use, manage AMC/OEMs and keep statutory records.
• Tendering: Prepare specifications and tenders, evaluate bids and monitor contractor performance.
• Safety and compliance: Follow CEA, NEC and IS standards, obtain statutory approvals, and implement LOTO and permit-to-work.
