Qualification required: Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet. Age limit: Maximum 27 years. Pay: PB: 1 (Rs 5,200 – 20,200) with Grade Pay of Rs 2000.

Technician (Dept. of Civil Engg.) (1 post)

Qualification required: Senior secondary (10+2) with Science from a Government recognized board with at least 60% marks; OR Senior secondary (10+2) from a Government recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in Civil Engineering; OR Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in Civil Engineering; OR Diploma in Civil Engineering of three year’s duration in relevant field from a Government recognized Polytechnic / Institute. Age limit: Maximum 27 years. Pay: PB: 1 (Rs 5,200 – 20,200) with Grade Pay of Rs 2000.

Lab Attendant (ME Workshop) (1 post)

Qualification required: Senior secondary (10+2) in Science from a recognized board. Age limit: Maximum 27 years. Pay: PB: 1 (Rs 5,200 – 20,200) with Grade Pay of Rs 1800.

Important Dates

How Will NIT Meghalaya Select Candidates?

• Scrutiny and shortlisting of applications by a duly constituted committee
• Test / interview for shortlisted candidates
• A duly constituted committee scrutinises applications and fixes the shortlisting criteria
• Only shortlisted candidates are communicated for Test / Interview etc. through the Institute’s website or e-mail
• The Institute may restrict the number of candidates called for interview / skill test / written test on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than prescribed

• TA / DA will not be paid for attending the Written Test/ skill test/ interview.
