One temporary Research Associate position is open at the New Chemistry Unit (NCU), International Centre for Materials Science (ICMS) and School of Advanced Materials (SAMat) of the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre For Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru, to work under the guidance of Dr. Pratap Vishnoi, Assistant Professor. The pay is Rs. 46,800 p.m. for Research Associate (Provisional) or Rs. 58,000, 61,000 or 67,000 p.m. for Research Associate, plus applicable HRA. The essential qualification is a Ph.D. in chemistry, materials chemistry or physics with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal, and the maximum age limit is 35 years. Who Can Apply

Essential Qualification

• Ph.D. in chemistry, materials chemistry, or physics with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
• Candidates who have submitted their thesis but have not defended it can apply for Research Associate (Provisional).

Desirable Qualification

• Knowledge of materials synthesis, X-ray crystallography, perovskite synthesis, perovskite structures, magnetic data measurements and analysis.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 35 years. The notice does not mention a cut-off date for counting age or any age relaxation.
