Who Can Apply for MUC Recruitment 2026?

Other conditions:

• Open to eligible Indian citizens
• Internal Auditor must have working knowledge of computerized accounting including Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
• Selected candidates must be medically fit, certified by the Joint Director of Health Services of the district or a Government Medical Officer, before joining

Desirable:

• Assistant Professor: Ph.D. or equivalent research degree with records of independent research work as evidenced by publications and project works shall be preferred

Assistant Professor, Department of History (1 post)

Qualification required: A high Second-Class Master’s Degree in any branch of History with a minimum of 55 per cent marks in the aggregate or of equal/equivalent Grade from a recognized University having specialized knowledge in the historical and religious literature and culture of Assam; NET/SET pass. Ph.D. or equivalent research degree with records of independent research work shall be preferred. Specialization: Open. Pay: Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400 (and all other admissible allowances).

Internal Auditor (1 post)

Qualification required: A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with major in Accountancy; uniformly good academic record; minimum five years’ auditing experience in A.G. Office/ Director of local Accounts/ reputed C.A. firm/ auditing and accounting in any University; working knowledge and practical experience in computerized accounting including Tally (Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime). Experience required: Experience of auditing in A.G. Office/ Director of local Accounts/ reputed C.A. firm/ auditing and accounting in any University for a minimum period of Five Years. Pay: Rs. 22,000 to 97,000 , GP Rs. 9,700 (and all other admissible allowances).

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• All posts shall remain purely temporary till confirmed after a minimum of one year’s probation, which may be extended if necessary
• Appointee must join within one month of the appointment order; the Vice-Chancellor may extend this in exceptional circumstances
• Appointee must execute an agreement to abide by the Acts, Statutes, Ordinances, Rules and Regulations of the University

3. Attach three sets of self-attested copies of all testimonials and supporting documents, with the Draft or payment receipt.
4. Write the name of the post and the Advertisement No. on the envelope.
