About TISS Programme Manager

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences is a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, and a Grant-in-Aid Institute under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Hyderabad Off-Campus of the Institute invites applications to fill one Programme Manager position on contract basis for a period of one year initially and extendable based on performance of the candidate and the requirement of the Institute.

TISS Programme Manager Job Description

The selected candidate will handle the following duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain project accounts, prepare budgets and financial reports, process payments, manage TDS/GST compliance, P-Tax, coordinate audits, maintain vouchers and financial records, and provide administrative support.
• Budget tracking, vendor payments, expense verification, financial documentation, reporting, and coordination with finance and project teams.

2. Fill out the online application form with the required details.
3. Upload necessary documents, including the required certificate if claiming fee concession for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
4. Pay the application fee of Rs 500/- online (Rs 250/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates upon uploading the required Certificate).
5. Submit the application online on or before 06.11.2026.
6. Take a print of acknowledgment of online application and keep it for future reference.

Selection and Interview

Applications received will be shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for Written/ Personal Interaction/ skill test for evaluating their proficiency and skills. Shortlisted Candidates will be informed over e-mail and/or mobile phone to appear for the Written/ Personal Interaction to be conducted at TISS, Hyderabad. No TA/DA is payable for appearing for the Personal Interaction, if it held at the Institute’s premises.
