Only teachers working in council schools under the Basic Shiksha Parishad, U.P. can apply. The Office of the District Basic Education Officer, Moradabad (कार्यालय जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी मुरादाबाद) accepts applications only by registered post or speed post, sent to its office on Court Road, Moradabad. Applications must reach the office by 05 November 2026, 5:00 PM. Selection is through a written test and an interview.

The Office of the District Basic Education Officer, Moradabad is the district-level office for basic education in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Where and How to Send

You must use the prescribed application format. The notice says the format is attached to it, and that the ARP application form is available at the district headquarters and at the BRC (Block Resource Centre). Send the application to this address:

1. Get the ARP application form in the prescribed format from the district headquarters or the BRC.
2. Fill in the form and attach all the enclosures.
3. Have the application, with all its enclosures, forwarded by your Block Education Officer (खण्ड शिक्षा अधिकारी). This is compulsory.
4. Put the application in a sealed envelope. Write the name of the development block you are applying for clearly, in bold letters, on top of the envelope.
5. Send it only by registered post or speed post (पंजीकृत डाक / रजिस्टर्ड डाक / स्पीड पोस्ट डाक). It must reach the office by 05 November 2026, 5:00 PM.

An application will be rejected without any further correspondence if it is not in the prescribed format, if it reaches the District Basic Education Officer’s office after the last date, or if it was not sent by registered or speed post. The applicant is responsible for any such rejection. Applications are invited block by block, in line with the number of vacancies in each block.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Block-wise Vacancies

There are 10 Academic Resource Person (ARP) posts in total. They are split across the development blocks as shown below.

The number of posts may be reduced or increased as needed.

Eligibility and Conditions

• Qualification: a graduation degree (स्नातक उपाधि) with a teacher training qualification.
• Experience: at least 5 years of teaching experience in council primary or upper primary schools.
• Service left: at least 5 years must remain before your retirement.
• No inquiry of any kind may be pending against you, and you must never have been found guilty in any disciplinary proceedings.
• Former ARPs who have already completed the maximum 3-year ARP tenure cannot be selected. There is one exception: if a block resource centre receives fewer applications than it has posts, ARPs who have completed 3 years may apply.
• Cut-off date: teaching experience and the minimum service left before retirement are counted from 05 November 2026. Item 13 of the notice also says that teaching experience and age are calculated from the date of the office memo.

Tenure and Pay

• Tenure: each ARP term is 1 year. It is renewed every year after a Performance Appraisal and approval by the District Selection Committee. An ARP can serve for a maximum of 3 years.
• Salary: the ARP keeps being paid from their own school (कार्यरत मूल विद्यालय). There is no increase in salary.
• Mobility allowance: ARPs do supportive supervision (सहयोगात्मक पर्यवेक्षण) against a monthly target. If they meet the target, they are paid a mobility allowance of Rs. 4,500/- per month as per the rules, after submitting a mobility bill (मोबिलिटी देयक पत्रक).
• No incentive of any kind is paid apart from the travel allowance.

Selection Process

Selection has two stages: a written test, then an interview. The final merit list is based on the marks from both.

The merit list will be prepared from the combined marks of the written test and the interview. The selection criteria and other guidelines follow the Government Order dated 15 June 2026.

• The District Magistrate (जिलाधिकारी) will settle any complaint or dispute about ARP selection, and the District Magistrate’s decision is final.
• Any matter not covered in the notice will be handled under the Government Order mentioned above.
• The notice is to be published on the district website, https://moradabad.nic.in/, and put up on the notice boards of the Block Education Officers.
