The upper age limit varies by post:

• Senior Resident – Orthopedics: Upper age limit is 45 years as on date of interview.
• Contractual Part Time Specialist – Pediatrics: Up to 69 years as on the date of interview.
• Medical Officer: Up to 69 years as on the date of interview.

ESIC Mulund Senior Resident Important Instructions

• Reservation for various categories will be awarded as per GOM Rules.
• If a candidate of the respective category is not available, the post will be filled in by candidate of any other category in the merit list.
• Candidates should also be in possession of the certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim. Candidates claiming reservation under OBC category should submit the latest Non-Creamy layer Certificate along with self declaration.
• Medical Superintendent may increase, decrease or cancel filling up of any or all the post without assigning any reasons.
• Recruitments are purely on contractual/temporary basis and selected candidate will have no claim for regularization of the service in the hospital.
• Selected candidate will have to sign agreement of term and condition on Rs. 500 stamp paper to be purchased by candidate prior to joining.
• The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefit like provident fund, pension, gratuity, medical attendance treatment, seniority, promotion, leave encashment etc. or any other benefits available to the ESI doctors appointed on regular basis.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for walk in interview or joining the post.
• Selected candidate must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period of contract. Professional Indemnity Policy sum assured of minimum Rs. 20 lacs (Twenty Lacs) for all surgeons and Rs. 10 lacs (Ten Lacs) for all non-surgeons. A copy of the insurance and premium receipt must be submitted within 7 days from the date of joining.
