Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: M.Sc. (Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/ Physical Oceanography); M.Tech. (Atmospheric/Oceanic Sciences)
• Age limit: Maximum 32 years

Other conditions:

• Indian Nationals only

Desirable:

• Thorough understanding of marine atmospheric boundary layer dynamics, atmospheric turbulence processes, meteorological and oceanic interactions over the North Indian Ocean
• Experience in atmospheric measurements, numerical modelling, and data analysis using satellite or in-situ observations
• Experience in handling and processing satellite and in-situ meteorological or oceanographic data
• Proficiency in computer programming using Python, MATLAB, Fortran, or C, and shell scripting
• Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX platforms
• Skill in data visualization and analysis using tools such as GrADS, NCL, Ferret, CDO, or similar scientific software

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Duration of the project: two (02) years
• Position offered initially for six months and can be extended based on progress and review every six months
