Age Limit

The age limit is 35 years. The date of interview is the crucial date for deciding eligibility on age, experience and essential qualification.

Essential Qualification

• B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognised University, OR
• GNM from a recognised University with at least one (1) year of experience in a relevant field.

All educational, professional and technical qualifications should be from a recognised Board or University.

Essential Experience

The candidate must have experience in clinical training in antenatal care, with skills relevant to maternal health. The required experience must have been gained after obtaining the minimum educational qualification for the post.

Desirable

• Experience in clinical research in the maternal and child health domain
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
• Experience in performing anthropometry and blood pressure monitoring for pregnant women
• Knowledge of electronic data collection tools
• Proficiency in Excel and basic computer skills
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English

Staff Nurse Job Description

The nurse will assist research officers with clinical tasks and data collection, and will be responsible for participant screening, enrolment, follow-up and data collection.

• Participant screening and enrolment: screening and enrolling participants in the study as per the protocol
• Data collection: assisting in collecting clinical data such as blood pressure monitoring and anthropometric measurements
• Ultrasound monitoring: scheduling and supervising ultrasound scans for pregnant women
• Field activities reporting: daily reporting of field activities and clinical data
• Case Report Forms (CRFs): filing and maintaining CRFs
• Communication: ensuring smooth communication with participants and research staff

Selection will be through a written test, skill test or interview at the walk-in. If a large number of applications is received, screening will limit the number of candidates to those with higher or relevant qualification and experience.

Service Conditions

• This is a short-term position.
• Extension will be granted subject to satisfactory performance and the tenure of the project.
• Those appointed will not have any claim for regularisation of their employment.
