WCD&SC Jagtial Anganwadi Teacher Vacancy 2026

A total of 64 Anganwadi Teacher posts are vacant across the four ICDS Projects of Jagtial district. The project-wise break-up is as follows:

Each of the 64 posts is tied to a specific Anganwadi Center (AWC) and carries its own local reservation category (OC, BC-A/B/C/D/E, SC, ST, EWS, or VH-earmarked), based on the Mandal, Gram Panchayat/Ward and AWC where the vacancy exists. Three posts – at Venkatapur (Dharmapuri project), Medipally (Jagtial project) and Peddapur (Metpalli project) – are specifically earmarked for candidates with visual handicap (VH) under the disability reservation. Gender and Residence Requirement

Only women candidates are eligible to apply. Applicants must be local residents of the specific area served by the vacant Anganwadi Center – urban applicants must reside in the concerned ward, and rural applicants must reside in the concerned Gram Panchayat where the vacancy is located.

Reservation

Posts allotted to SC or ST habitations under the SC/ST sub-plan are open only to SC or ST candidates residing in that specific habitation or allotted locality, as applicable. Selection is made purely on a merit-cum-points basis, out of a maximum of 100 marks, as follows:

Required documents for verification include the SSC/date-of-birth and Intermediate qualification certificates, a residence certificate issued by the Tahsildar within the last one year, the Intermediate/higher qualification marks memo, and, where applicable, caste certificate and special-category certificates (disability, widow, or orphan certificate under the JJ Act, 2015).
