Who Can Apply

Candidates must possess a Diploma in Textiles/Bachelor’s Textiles/Sericulture/Agriculture or any Degree. Candidates hailing from the concerned State will be eligible to apply for vacancies in the concerned chapter as local candidates. Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge to read, write, and speak in the local language.

Pay and Tenure

The selected Young Professionals will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs. 30,000/- per month. Professional tax will be deducted at source before effecting payment as per prevailing rules. TA/DA is allowed for official travel in the country subject to approval by the Competent Authority, with permissible modes of journey being Rail/Bus, and hotel accommodation, conveyance, and other allowances on par with level-3 cadre.

6. Take a printout of the finally submitted online application and keep it along with uploaded documents for submission at the time of the interview.

Selection and Interview

Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit, and shortlisted candidates will be intimated by e-mail communication only. Interviews will be conducted at selected locations/chapters with a 1:5 ratio (i.e., for every 1 position, 5 candidates will be invited for the interview). No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

• Candidates engaged in any other private/Government services/institutes/organisation must submit a No Objection Certificate/relieving letter from the parent employer at the time of joining.
• Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification, though female candidates are encouraged to apply to reflect gender balance.
• The engagement is purely on a temporary and contract basis up to 31.03.2029 and does not confer any right or claim for regular or temporary appointment in any future vacancies.
• Office timings are generally from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with extended service rendered during exigencies.
• Selected candidates are eligible for all SMOI holidays and 8 days of leave per year on specific advance request subject to sanction.
• Selected candidates must be ready to undertake tours to areas under the jurisdiction of chapters as directed.
• Selected candidates must join within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of e-mailing the offer of engagement letter.
