SI-MET Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 19 Assistant Professor, Lecturer Posts

The State Institute of Medical Education and Technology (SI-MET), an institution under the Government of Kerala, has 19 faculty posts on contract for MSc Nursing holders: 8 Assistant Professor posts at Rs.33,320/- and 11 Lecturer posts at Rs. 32,450/- consolidated pay per month, in SI-MET Nursing Colleges at Dharmadam, Thaliparamba (Kannur Dist.) and Udma (Kasargod Dist.). Appointments are on contract for one year, renewable based on satisfactory performance. About SI-MET

The State Institute of Medical Education and Technology (SI-MET) is a Government of Kerala undertaking with its office at TC 94/2750, Pattoor, Vanchiyoor P.O, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala State – 695035. Its Chairperson is the Minister for Health, Government of Kerala, and its Vice Chairman is the Secretary, Health & Family Welfare. The posts in this notification are faculty positions in SI-MET Nursing Colleges at Dharmadam, Thaliparamba and Udma.

Post-wise Vacancies

SI-MET has notified 19 vacancies in two posts. The notice does not give a college-wise or category-wise break-up.

The posts are in SI-MET Nursing College Dharmadam and Thaliparamba (Kannur District) and Udma (Kasargod District). Candidates residing in Kannur and Kasargod districts will be given preference.

Qualification and Experience

The application form asks for details of the BSc Nursing / Post Basic BSc Nursing and MSc Nursing degrees, the MSc Nursing speciality, the Kerala Nursing Council registration number with its validity, and experience after BSc Nursing and after MSc Nursing (clinical and teaching). Age Limit

The maximum age limit for candidates of both posts is up to 50 years. For retired hands, the limit is up to 59 years. The notice does not print a date as on which age is counted.

Pay and Terms

The notice marks both amounts as “likely to be enhanced”. It names no other allowance, and it does not say how the pay of retired candidates is fixed.

• Appointments made to the vacant posts under this notification are non-transferable to other colleges of SI-MET.

The application is offline. The notice gives these steps:

1. Download the application form from the website www.simet.in. There is a separate form for each post (Lecturer and Assistant Professor), with a space for a photograph.
2. Pay the application fee through the SB collect link on the website, or download the challan form from the website and pay at any branch of SBI.
3. Fill in the form, including the fee remittance details with the date of remittance and the amount.
4. Attach the documents listed below.
5. Address the application to The Director, SI-MET Pattoor, Vanchiyoor P.O Thiruvananthapuram 695035.
6. Make sure the application is received by 18 November 2026 before 5 pm. Applications received after the last date will be rejected.

The fee is paid through the SB collect link on the website (www.simet.in) or by challan at any SBI branch. The notice does not say whether the fee is refundable.
