SAI High Performance Director Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

Sports Authority of India (SAI) Human Resources Division-II has announced 7 vacancies for High Performance Director posts on a contract basis for a period of 01 year or till the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. The post offers a pay scale of Level-12 Rs. 78,800-Rs. 2,09,200 with transport allowance of Rs. 5,580 or 11160 per month depending on posting. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant field of Sports Science from a recognized University or Institution. Who Can Apply

• Officers who have worked under the Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory Administrations in the scientific cadre holding an analogous post in the parent cadre/ department, OR officers with regular service of 5 years in the Pay Level-11 (Rs. 67,700-208,700, Pay Band-3, Rs. 15600-39100 + Rs. 6600/- Grade Pay).
• The candidate must hold a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant field of Sports Science from a recognized University or Institution.
• Desirable experience: 2 years’ experience in the field of sports science/medicine.
• Age limit: Not exceeding 64 years on the opening date of receipt of application.

Pay and Terms

The remuneration is arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement (Last Pay Drawn Minus Pension). The pay scale is Level -12 Rs. 78800-209200 (PB-3, Rs.15600-39100 + Rs. 7600/- Grade Pay). No annual increment or percentage increase and Dearness Allowance shall be allowed during the term of the contract. Transport allowance of Rs. 5,580/- or Rs. 11,160/- per month is admissible depending upon the place of posting. No other facilities like DA, accommodation, residential phone, personal staff, medical reimbursement, HRA, and LTC are admissible. The term of appointment is for 01 year or till the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process
