RGSSH Assistant Nursing Superintendent Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 4 Posts

Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital (RGSSH) has announced 4 vacancies for the Assistant Nursing Superintendent (ANS) post on a contract basis for an initial period of 05 years. Candidates applying for the post must possess a B.Sc (Nursing) or Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and ‘A’ Grade certificate with post certificate diploma in nursing administration/sister tutor’s course and 5 years experience, along with registration with Delhi Nursing Council (DNC) or any other nursing council. The notified pay is Rs. 15,600-39,100 + GP Rs. 5,400 (Level 10 7th CPC). Who Can Apply

Candidates must satisfy the following qualification, experience, and registration criteria to apply for the post:

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc (Nursing); OR Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and ‘A’ Grade certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution, along with a Post certificate diploma in nursing administration/sister tutor’s course.
• Experience: Five-year experience as nursing sister/Theatre Sister.
• Registration: Candidates applying for the post of ANS should be registered with Delhi Nursing Council (DNC) or any other nursing council. After selection, registration with DNC mentioning their essential qualification for the selected post is mandatory.
• Age Limit: Age limit is 55 years. Age relaxations apply to SC/ST/OBC/Departmental Candidates/ExSM/PWh etc. in accordance with the instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India/DoPT/Govt of NCT of Delhi from time to time. Candidates seeking benefits of age relaxation under SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories must produce the relevant certificates issued on or before the last date of application filling, and OBC candidates must provide a non-creamy layer certificate issued within six months prior by the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

Pay and Tenure

The selected candidate receives a consolidated pay scale of Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5,400 (Level 10 of the 7th CPC). The appointment is initially for a period of 05 years on a contractual basis, subject to satisfactory work and conduct report from the Director, RGSSH being HOD. Further extension is based on an annual performance appraisal report as per MOA of the hospital. The contract engagement is not pensionable.
