PFRDA Recruitment 2026 – 30 Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Vacancies, Apply Online

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released the PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026 notification (Advt. No. 03/2026, dated 03.09.2026) for 30 Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) posts across the General, Research, Actuary and Official Language (Rajbhasha) streams. PFRDA Officer Grade A online applications are open from 03.09.2026 to 24.09.2026 at www.pfrda.org.in. PFRDA Officer Grade A Vacancy 2026 – Post-Wise Details

A total of 30 vacancies have been notified for PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026, spread across four streams. Category-wise reservation is included in parentheses for each stream.

Overall category-wise total: SC-5, ST-2, OBC-8, EWS-3, UR/GEN-12, Total-30, of which 2 posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Candidates in the OBC ‘Creamy Layer’ are not entitled to OBC reservation and must indicate their category as UR/GEN.

PFRDA Officer Grade A Eligibility Criteria

PFRDA Officer Grade A eligibility 2026 covers nationality, educational qualification and age limit. Applicants must be Indian citizens, computer literate, and conversant with MS-Office (Word and Excel). Candidates can apply for a maximum of 2 streams, with a separate online application and fee required for each stream. Eligibility for the General stream also extends to candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or ACA/FCA (ICAI), ACS/FCS (ICSI), ACMA/FCMA (ICMAI), or CFA (CFA Institute).

PFRDA Officer Grade A Qualification (As on 31.07.2026)

The notification clarifies that all above degrees/diplomas must be recognized as equivalent to a Master’s Degree by the Association of Indian Universities. Candidates awaiting final qualifying results may also apply, subject to producing proof of the qualification within the time allowed if selected.

PFRDA Officer Grade A Age Limit (As on 31.07.2026)

A candidate must not have exceeded 30 years of age as on 31 July 2026, i.e., must be born on or after 1 August 1996.

Candidates covered under more than one relaxation category (e.g., SC/ST/OBC who are also PwBD or Ex-servicemen) are eligible for cumulative age relaxation, as per the notification.

PFRDA Officer Grade A Application Fee

A separate online application and fee (wherever applicable) is required for each stream a candidate applies to. Fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances, and payment is accepted only through online mode (debit/credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, or mobile wallets).

PFRDA Officer Grade A Salary

Selected candidates will draw pay in the scale of Rs. 62,500-3600(4)-76,900-4050(7)-1,05,250-EB-4050(4)-1,21,450-4650(1)-1,26,100 (17 years). As per the notification, gross emoluments – including PFRDA’s contribution towards the National Pension System (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Allowance, Family Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance, Learning Allowance and Housing Allowance – work out to approximately Rs. 2,05,000 per month at the minimum of the scale. Other benefits include Leave Fare Concession, medical expense reimbursement, Personal Accident Insurance, Children Education Allowance, Knowledge Updation Allowance, conveyance expenses, House Cleaning Allowance, and a Pluxee Meal Card, among others admissible to an Officer Grade A in PFRDA.

PFRDA Officer Grade A Selection Process

Selection for PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026 is a three-stage process:

• Phase I – Online Screening Examination: Two papers of 100 marks each (Paper 1: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning, General Awareness – common to all streams, 90 questions, 60 minutes; Paper 2: stream-specific subject, 50 questions, 40 minutes). Negative marking of 1/4th mark applies. Marks are used only for shortlisting to Phase II and are not counted in final selection.
• Phase II – Online Examination: Paper 1 is a descriptive English test (3 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes, 1/3rd weightage); Paper 2 is a stream-specific objective paper (50 questions, 100 marks, 40 minutes, 2/3rd weightage). Negative marking of 1/4th mark applies to Paper 2. Candidates equal to 5 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted, in merit order, for Phase III.
• Phase III – Interview: Conducted only for candidates shortlisted after Phase II; can be attended in Hindi or English.

Final selection is based on marks obtained in Phase II (85% weightage) and Phase III (15% weightage). Marks obtained in Phase I are not counted towards final selection.

How to Apply for PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026

1. Visit the official PFRDA website, www.pfrda.org.in, and open the “Careers” section.
2. Open the recruitment notification titled “PFRDA Recruitment Exercise – Recruitment of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) – 2026” and click “Apply Online”.
3. Choose “Click Here for New Registration” and enter your name, contact details and email ID to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
4. Fill in the application form; use “Save and Next” to save progress if the form cannot be completed in one go.
5. Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and the handwritten declaration as per the specified guidelines.
6. Fill in remaining application details and use the Preview tab to verify all entries before clicking “Complete Registration” (no changes are allowed after this step).
7. Click the “Payment” tab and pay the applicable fee online.
8. Click “Submit” and save/print the system-generated application form and e-receipt for future reference.

The online application window is open from 03.09.2026 to 24.09.2026. No other mode of application is accepted, and candidates need not send a printout to PFRDA’s office.

• Currently valid photo ID proof (PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter’s Card, Aadhaar/E-Aadhaar, etc.) – Ration Card and Learner’s License are not valid ID proof

Important Instructions

• Candidates can apply for a maximum of 2 streams only, subject to eligibility; a separate application and fee is required for each stream.
• No request for change/correction in application particulars (including category) will be entertained once the application is submitted.
• Selected candidates are liable to be posted to any PFRDA department in New Delhi or Mumbai, and to serve anywhere in India as required.
• Successful candidates will undergo a probation period of two years.
• Candidates already employed in Govt./Quasi-Govt. organisations or PSU banks must produce a No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.
• Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed single AC Three Tier return railway fare by the shortest route, subject to documentary evidence.
• A candidate is allowed to appear only once in the online examination for a post; multiple appearances will lead to cancellation of candidature.
