Oil India Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

• Deputy Chief Chemist: Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry of minimum 02 years’ duration with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/ Grade and must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the graduation level; AND Minimum 09 years of Post Qualification Relevant Work Experience.
• Deputy Chief Engineer (Reservoir): Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering of minimum 04 years’ duration with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA/ Grade; AND Minimum 09 years of Post Qualification Relevant Work Experience OR Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Petroleum Technology of minimum 02 years’ duration with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/ Grade along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any discipline of minimum 04 years’ duration; AND Minimum 09 years of Post Qualification Relevant Work Experience.
• Economist: Postgraduate Degree in Economics or Business Economics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/ Grade; AND Minimum Post Qualification Relevant Work Experience (09 years for Grade D, 13 years for Grade E, 17 years for Grade F).

• Maximum Age Limit: 49 years for all posts.
• Age relaxation: 5 years for Ex-Servicemen, PwBD as per GoI, 3 years for PhD, internal candidates up to 54 years.
