How to Apply for NHM Thiruvananthapuram Medical Officer Recruitment 2026

  1. Open nhmtvm.com or arogyakeralam.gov.in and find the Google form link for the Medical Officer (MBBS) notification No. NHM/TVM/462/2026-D9.
  2. Fill in the form with your qualification, TCMC / Kerala Medical Council registration and experience details exactly as they appear on your certificates. Incomplete or misleading entries can lead to rejection at any stage.
  3. Submit the form before 5:00 PM on 17 October 2026. Do not post or deliver a hard copy; the notice says only online applications will be considered.
  4. Take a printout of the submitted application and keep it safely.
  5. Get a demand draft for Rs. 350 in favour of “DHFWS-OTHERS TRIVANDRUM”, payable at Thiruvananthapuram, dated on or before 17 October 2026.

Documents for certificate verification

Bring the originals and carry copies of each. Claims made in the form must be backed by these documents.

  • Printout of the submitted online application
  • Original demand draft for Rs. 350
  • MBBS degree certificate (or equivalent)
  • Permanent registration certificate from TCMC / Kerala Medical Council
  • Proof of date of birth
  • Work experience certificate(s) from the employer, if claiming experience

Before you apply

  • The window is nine days from the notification date. Arrange the DD early; a DD dated after 17 October 2026 does not meet the condition even though it is submitted later.
  • All communication from the Society is by email. Use an address you check daily and enter it without errors.
  • If your experience is with a private hospital or an earlier NHM contract, get a formal experience certificate issued now; pay slips and appointment orders will be refused as proof.
  • No TA/DA is paid for the interview, and absence of any certificate at verification can remove you from the selection list.
  • Canvassing in any form leads to automatic disqualification.

Selection Process

Selection is based on qualification, experience and performance in a written test and/or interview. The notice does not fix a date or venue; shortlisted candidates are informed by email, and the vacancies are described as immediate, so the schedule is likely to follow quickly after the closing date. Originals are checked at interview / certificate verification, and the Society can remove a candidate from the selection list at any stage if relevant certificates or records are missing.
