NHM Mahabubnagar Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy both the age limit and educational qualification prescribed for the post they are applying for. Category-wise reservation and the Rule of Reservation (RoR) will be followed as per Presidential Order 2018 and Government Orders in force.

NHM Mahabubnagar Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection is based purely on merit – there is no written examination or interview mentioned in the notification.
- Total marks: 100 (90 marks for qualifying examination performance + 10 marks for age weightage)
- Age weightage: 0.5 mark for every completed year of age from 18 years, up to a maximum of 10 marks, reckoned as on 01.07.2026
- A merit list is prepared and displayed on the official website of the District Collector for transparency, and objections are invited
- The final selection list is prepared from the merit list, following the Rule of Reservation and Presidential Orders
- Selected candidates are required to maintain the assigned headquarters
- These are contract positions for one year, and can be terminated earlier if regular candidates join or on grounds of poor performance

- Candidates should submit the University-approved conversion formula/method for converting Grade Points/CGPA into equivalent marks/percentage, wherever applicable, to facilitate merit list preparation.
- The Rule of Reservation applicable to local and non-local candidates will follow the Presidential Order.
- A roster will be followed for posts with more than one vacancy; the existing roster will be continued.
- Selected candidates’ postings will be issued as per merit, roster and options after completion of the selection process.
- Vacancies may be terminated earlier than one year if regular candidates report for duty, or on grounds of poor performance, at the discretion of the District Collector and Chairman of the District Health Society.
