National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) has announced 3 vacancies for the Research Associate – I post on a contract basis under advertisement number 03 / 2026. The engagement is purely on a contract basis for a period of one year, extendable for another two years. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or Forensic Science, or alternatively 3 years experience after M.Pharm with an SCI journal paper having an impact factor greater than 1.0. The position carries a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 58,000 plus HRA as applicable. Who Can Apply

Essential Qualification

Ph.D. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Biochemistry / Applied Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Pharmacology / Forensic Science;

OR

Having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M. Pharm;

AND

With at least one research paper in Science Citations Indexed (SCI) journal with Impact factor > 1.0;

Age Limit

Age not more than 35 years. Relaxation up to 3 years is applicable for OBC(NCL) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.

Pay and Tenure

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 58,000/- plus HRA as applicable. The engagement is purely on a contract basis for an initial period of one year, which is extendable for another two years maximum, or subject to curtailment based on satisfactory performance and conduct. Performance is reviewed yearly, and the contract can be terminated by either side with a notice of one month in advance or one month’s salary in lieu thereof.
