Eligibility Criteria

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master’s Degree in Science (Plant Pathology/ Entomology/ Nematology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Plant Genetic Resources/ Life Sciences from a recognized University) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree Or Candidates having a post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences (with specialization in Biotechnology/ Agriculture/ Botany/ Genetics/ plant science/ Life sciences/ related subject) with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience in the relevant area.
• Laboratory Assistant: B.Sc./ Graduate degree in science with relevant experience in agriculture field, biotechnology laboratory, plant protection, growing crops etc. (Desirable).

Age Limit

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable: 5 years for Women and SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for PwD candidates.
• Laboratory Assistant: Maximum 50 years. Age relaxation is applicable: 5 years for Women and SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for PwD candidates.
