MCA Full-Time Member Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline

Applications are invited for 1 post of Full-Time Member in the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, offering a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 5,00,000 without house and car or the pay and allowances admissible to an Additional Secretary to the Government of India. Candidates must be Indian nationals with not less than 20 years of expertise and experience in the field of accountancy, auditing, finance, or law, appointed for a tenure of 3 years or until attaining 65 years of age. Duly completed offline applications must reach the Ministry by 16 November 2026.

Who Can Apply

• Nationality: Must be an Indian National (only Indian nationals need apply).
• Qualifications and Experience: In accordance with the National Financial Reporting Authority (Manner of Appointment and other Terms and Conditions of Service of chairperson and members) Rules, 2018, the applicant must be a person of ability, integrity, and standing, possessing expertise and experience of not less than 20 years in the field of accountancy, auditing, finance, or law.
• Age Limit: Up to 65 years (the term of office continues until attaining sixty-five years of age, whichever is earlier). The official notification does not specify a minimum age limit.

Pay and Terms

The Full-Time Member has the option to receive remuneration under one of two options:

• A consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 5,00,000 (five lakh rupees) without house and car; OR
• The pay and allowances as are admissible to an Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

Provided that where a full time member exercises the option to receive pay as admissible to an Additional Secretary to the Government of India and is in receipt of monthly pension from either the Central Government or a State Government, the pay of such Member, as the case may be, shall be reduced by the gross amount of pension drawn by him.

Declaration of Conflict of Interest: The Member, before being appointed, shall submit a declaration to the Central Government confirming that they have no conflict of interest or lack of independence in respect of such appointment as the Member in Form I annexed to the relevant rules, failing which their appointment shall not be considered.

Tenure and Extension: The term of office of the full time Member shall be three years from the date on which he enters upon his office or till he attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier, and he shall be eligible for re-appointment for one more term.

Post-Tenure Restriction: The Full-Time Member shall not be associated with any audit firm including related consultancy firms during their appointment and two years after ceasing to hold such appointment.

Resignation/Retirement Requirement: It is certified that the information furnished above is correct and that in the event of my selection, I shall resign/seek retirement, if already in any employment including government service, before my appointment as Full Time Member, National Financial Reporting Authority.

Head Office: The head office of the NFRA shall be at New Delhi and the NFRA may, meet at such other placed in India as it deems fit.

How to Apply for MCA Full-Time Member

1. The application form may be downloaded from Ministry’s website (www.mca.gov.in).
2. Fill in the application form in capital letters with name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth (proof to be attached), postal address for correspondence with pin code, phone number, e-mail ID, fax, and nationality.
3. Attach self-attested copies of educational qualifications.
4. Provide service/cadre/batch details in case of Government Employee, and present posting/occupation/profession with pay scale and basic pay.
5. Provide details of previous postings/employment (including period) and nature of activities performed, field of expertise as per prescribed eligibility criteria and number of years of experience thereon, and any other special qualification, special achievements, participation in important committees/working groups etc. or Foreign assignments/training, or publication to the applicant’s credit, or National/International recognition received, if any.
6. In case of applicants, other than serving government servants, testimonials from two referees in responsible position (not being relatives) including their address, contact numbers and e-mail ID, should be attached.
7. In case of serving government servants, certificates as in Appendix – “A”, issued by cadre controlling/competent authority are to be submitted along with the Application Form through proper channel. Applications of serving government servants including PSUs/autonomous organisations should be sent through proper channel.
8. Applications in the prescribed format, duly completed in all respect should reach to Shri Bhanu Sharma, Under Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Room No. 13049, ‘A’ Wing, 3rd Floor, Kartavya Bhawan, New Delhi – 110 001 latest by 16th November, 2026. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date are liable to be rejected.

Selection Process

It may be noted that the Search-cum-Selection Committee is free to identify and recommend any other person also, based on merit, who has not applied for the post.
