Bachelor Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject with B.Ed. (Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics, and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography).
B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE recognized institution/University with at least 50% marks.
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Preference will be given to CTET qualified candidate. However, in the absence of CTET qualified candidates, candidates having no CTET qualification may be considered if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment rules.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Primary Teacher (PRT)

Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Class-XII with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Education (Special Education) from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE recognized institution/University with at least 50% marks; OR Three years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks.
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
